The 14 Elements of Yugo's Way
1. We are primarily Spiritual Beings who live on for all eternity. Take time each day to work out your spiritual body, strengthening your eternal, internal Being.
2. Our thoughts transmit real energy into the know-osphere, impacting ourselves, other people, and our planet. Be aware of thoughts and emotions, stay positive, and counteract the negativity influencing our world.
3. Mother Earth is all-giving, but she needs our help now. We must restore her by taking responsibility for what we buy, what we drive, what we eat, what we throw away, what we support. Changing our way of be-ing does make a difference.
4. Consume less and consciously make choices in harmony with nature. Don’t be seduced by the false promises of materialism or the allure of instant gratification.
5. We are all one, all interconnected, from the same Divine Source. Have compassion and empathy for all beings, remembering, what we do unto others we are doing to ourselves.
6. Living spiritually is simply being open and honest in all relationships. Be open and honest with yourself, with other people, and with your Higher Power, whatever you understand that to be.
7. Stay awake when consuming the “news,” and if you become attached or identified, stop. The news entertainment business breeds negativity, divisiveness, and darkens the spirit.
8. Comfort is Overrated. Get out of your comfort zone, experience the feeling of awe, and truly live!
9. We are living in a new era of the spiritual evolution of humanity. Actively participate in the evolution of our planet toward consciously chosen love.
10. Take time each day to meditate. Immerse yourself in the Great Silence, listen, and be.
11. We must make time for music. Music creates joy, awe, and peace while nourishing the soul.
12. Remember, everything in moderation. And if that’s not an option, we must abstain.
13. Wake up and live in the Present, for it is always Now. Be aware when your mind is replaying the past or making up the future so you can return to the Present and live Now.
14. In the end, Love is all that really matters. It’s the Divine and Grand Energy of the Universe.
About the Author
It’s no secret that life can be wilder and more interesting than fiction—just look around. Many of the events in this book actually happened (although the names and certain details were changed to enhance the story and protect everyone involved). So it could be said that “Life” is the author of this book. Other parts come from imagination and inspiration, usually sparked by influences. Eckhart Tolle said in A New Earth, “All creativity comes out of inner spaciousness. Once the creation has happened and something has come into form, you have to be vigilant so that the notion of ‘me’ or ‘mine’ does not arise.” Wise stuff. Actual events wrote this book. Influences, inspirations, Life wrote this book. And since we are all interconnected, it is also right to say that WE wrote this book together. After all, We are all One!
